Bushmoon Safaris is owned and run by Nicky and Chantel Janse Van Rensburg. For the past three decades they were involved in the hospitality industry, and hosting hunting clients from across the globe. With their years of experience, it was time to set up their own operation and we invite you to enjoy their hospitality.

Nicky grew up hunting with his father across Zimbabwe and Botswana. As a 5-year-old, he hunted his first impala in an area known as Jao in Botswana. The memories of the indigenous Bushmen people; learning from them to hunt like no other, and the smell of the 1954 Series 1 Land Rover have remained fresh in his memory. Nearly 60 years later, it is an honor to be able to offer their knowledge to discerning international hunters. The personal touch and involvement of both Nicky and Chantel is what will guarantee creating your everlasting safari memories. Based in the Limpopo Province, a 3½-hour drive from OR Tambo Airport, Bushmoon Safaris is situated along the banks of the Molopo River, and neighbors the Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa’s fifth-largest Big Five reserve.
