Founded by Alex and Johnny Thomson with the support of their father in 2006, the safari company grew to include their wives Tamryn and Janeske and their children. The combined experience of our team is over 35 years.
As a company, we take our work seriously. Our organisation is a member of PHASA, SCI, DSC, and we are also a lifetime member of NRA. Our company is honoured to be part of Craig Boddington's endorsement outfitter program since 2017, as well as Hunt Africa and African Dawn Outfitter program.
We offer hunters and visitors the opportunity to view and hunt 25 species of plains game and the Big Five. As far as antelopes go, the Eland is our most popular. We live and breathe the bushveld at Eland Safaris! Every visit is an opportunity to experience South Africa through our eyes. Eland Safaris sees clients as friends and family, making them feel like part of our family from the moment they walk through our doors.

We have taken a couple of great big trophies in the past few years, but for us it's not about how big the trophy is, but the hole experience of the safari. But here are a couple of big trophies we took over the past years, a couple of 60" plus kudu, gemsbuck of 43", blue wildebeest and a waterbuck of 32", bushbuck of 18", Impala of 26", couple of rare 13" Warthogs and two 43" Buffalo, one with a crossbow and other with a bow, and a 31" Nyala and a Eland of 40" just to name a couple.
