THE AREAS WE HUNT IN

With our locations in the heart of South Africa’s malaria-free Eastern Cape provinces, eZulu Adventures is an exceptional African hunting safari, spanning various privately owned biodiverse hunting areas. As home to arguably the widest variety of huntable species on the African continent, we offer our clients a natural and diverse (dangerous and plains) game hunting experience in South Africa. Travelling time between camps is no more than 2.5 hours which allows for scenic routes when driving from camp to camp. From glorious animals that have roamed the African continent for hundreds of years to scenery untouched for thousands of years, eZulu Adventures encompasses large privately owned areas, holding a dramatic variety of biodiversity. Steep mountainous areas, to deep riverine valleys and open grass plains form part of our beautiful terrain; we are home to a multitude of game species from Cape Buffalo and White Rhino to the majestic Kudu and elusive Cape Bushbuck.

MOUNTAIN CAMP

The Winterberg mountain range along the Swartkei River is home to this pristine Mountain hunting area. The beautiful terrain here varies from rugged deep gorges and cliffs to flat open plains offering some of the most breath-taking sunsets and sunrises. During winter, cold conditions can be expected with snow on the high mountains. Begin your day in the flats at 4000ft where herds of Blesbuck and Wildebeest found in the hundreds will be your quarry of choice. Test your metal as an avid hunter and elevate to 6000ft where the king of these mountains, the Cape Eland is found and chase the elusive Vaal Rhebuck which is likened to some of North Americas high altitude Sheep hunting.

BUSH CAMP

We have access to various privately owned and preserved properties across the Eastern Cape. These properties offer world class accommodation and cuisine. They are family run operations and the attention to detail and personal touch are unsurpassed. The areas have been handpicked to ensure the quality of trophies is of the highest standard to bring it in alignment with the Ezulu portfolio and what we have been offering our clients for the last 50 years.

COASTAL CAMP

Enjoy the ocean air and luxury beaches without the crowds. Spectacular ocean views are one of the most noteworthy features of this prime coastal bushveld land between Port Elizabeth and East London. The habitat consists of thick coastal bush and dunes along the Indian Ocean. Explore the sands of one of the Eastern Capes most beautiful beaches and return to your luxurious accommodations while listening to the sounds of crashing waves right at your doorstep. Hunting along this diverse coastline is unlike any other. Being home to many of the Tiny 10 species, this area brings diversity to hunting styles. Chase the elusive Blue Duiker in dense bush or ambushing Bushpig over bait. The thrill of the Caracal hunt with Dogs is a heart pounding experience. Early morning Bushbuck hunts made up of glassing the western banks as the old rams sun themselves in the first morning rays. Keep your eyes peeled for the unique Oribi ram that frequents the open f ields between the dense coastal bush.
