Description
The aim of the African Hunting Gazette has always been to promote hunting in Africa; to help visiting international hunters understand the absolute magic of what’s on offer across the continent. And Game Animals of Africa highlights its sheer diversity. Aside from the species; subspecies abound.
There are over 200 full gloss pages of content and photographs, delivering a wealth of information for hunters passionate about Africa and the game animals on offer. There is an overview of hunting in each country by someone who, in our opinion, has played the greatest role in promoting hunting in Africa over the past several decades – Craig Boddington. There is also a rundown of one of Africa’s best-kept secrets: wing shooting by Ken Bailey, in which South Africa has nowhere near reached its potential.
We wanted an iconic rifle manufacturer, synonymous with Africa, to be showcased, and that was the Rigby story particularly on this momentous year – their 250th anniversary and we end with a gallery of trophy pictures published from Africa Dawn Outfitters. My hope is that this book contributes to the ever-strengthening foundation of the African Hunting industry.
